BLUE LINE BATTERY ADVANCES TO ROUND TWO OF THE SMART CITIES – SMART FUTURES COMPETITION

Congratulations Blue Line Battery! As a representative for Blue Line Battery, Kristen Holtan is one of the 88 Round One winners of Foxconn’s Smart Cities – Smart Futures competition. As Kristen explains, “Excelling in this competition has aided in Blue Line’s growth because it has been a great way to get involved with Foxconn, and hopefully, stay involved with the future opportunities they are bringing to Wisconsin!”

In Round One of the competition, there were 325 submissions and 88 contestants advanced to Round Two of the competition. Six of the 88 Round One winners represented the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Round Two of the competition spans from December 13th to January 31st. During this round, Round One winners will expand upon their innovative ideas and solutions. Up to 50 Round Two winners will receive a $1,500 award. The Round Two Winners will be announced in early March.
